Izzy Goudros represented the Crimson at the Texas Relays meet from Wednesday, March 29 to Thursday, March 30, where she set a new school record in the heptathlon with a score of 5637 to place seventh at the meet.
The heptathlon consisted of seven events over the course of two days for Goudros: the 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200m dash, long jump, javelin throw and 800m run. Of the 20 competitors in Austin, she placed first in the 200m dash with a time of 23.56, fifth in the long jump with a jump of 5.93m and sixth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.77.
With her seventh place finish at the meet, she is now seventh in the nation in the event.
