Saron and Dershwitz were part of the silver medal winning team at the Madrid Men's Sabre World Cup held in Madrid, Spain. Saron took 14
th and Dershwitz placed 34
th in the individual competition as USA Fencing's top two finishers. In addition, senior
Filip Dolegiewicz competed at the event, placing 48
th overall in the individual competition.

Lauren Scruggs was named National Collegiate Women's Foil Athlete of the Year, and junior
Jonas Hansen was named National Collegiate Men's Epee Athlete of the Year by the United States Fencing Coaches Association.
Scruggs was the 2023 women's foil NCAA champion, the seventh NCAA individual champion in school history and the first Crimson women's foilist to win the title since Alexandra Kiefer in 2014. Hansen was the 2023 men's epee NCAA champion, the Crimson's eighth individual national champion in school history on the men's side. He is also the third Crimson epee national champion in school history, and the first since Benjamin Ungar in 2009.
