CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard fencing embarked on a new chapter in collegiate fencing this season, as the Crimson added to its trophy cabinet and orchestrated incredible moments during the 2025-26 campaign.
At the 2026 Ivy League Championships, the men's team emerged victorious again, taking home the 14
th Ivy League title in program history. Sophomores
Colin Heathcock won the Ivy League Men's Saber Championship, while fellow classmate
Nicholas Zhang was the Ivy League's Men's Epee Champion. The women's team finished in second place, as five Crimson earned All-Ivy League honors.
The 2026 NCAA Championships in South Bend, Indiana represented a landmark moment for collegiate fencing, as the NCAA sponsored separate women's and men's national championships. In the team standings, both squads finished in fourth place, as junior
Jessica Zi Jia Guo became just the third student-athlete in program history to win multiple national championships.
Looking to the future, Harvard will use the 2025-26 as a foundation with a young team, as the Crimson will reach for greater heights during the 2026-27 season.
