CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard fencing ends its 2025-26 collegiate season in South Bend, Indiana this weekend, as the Crimson will compete at the 2026 NCAA Championships from Thursday, Mar. 19 to Sunday, Mar. 22. The NCAA Women's Fencing Championship takes place on Thursday, Mar. 19 and Friday, Mar. 20, while the NCAA Men's Championship is held on Saturday, Mar. 21 and Sunday, Mar. 22.
WHAT TO KNOW
- For the first time since 1989, the NCAA will sponsor separate national championships for women's and men's programs.
- In all, Harvard will send five Crimson from the women's program to South Bend this weekend, while the men's team will have four qualifiers at the NCAA Championships.
- Finishing in 12th place in her NCAA Championships debut last year, sophomore Yasmine Khamis will represent the Crimson in the women's epee competition at the NCAA Championships. A native of Dallas, Texas, Khamis finished in 11th place with 10 wins at the 2026 NCAA Northeast Regional Championships earlier this month, as Khamis started the postseason slate by earning All-Ivy League First Team honors by posting a 13-4 record with a +20 indicator at the 2026 Ivy League Championships.
- Two Crimson will compete in the women's foil competition in South Bend. A two-time Olympian with Team Canada, 2024 NCAA Women's Foil National Champion and a two-time All-America First Team selection, junior Jessica Zi Jia Guo qualifies for the NCAA Championships for a third-straight year. A native of Toronto, Ontario, Guo owns a 39-7 across her two NCAA Championships appearances, as Guo finished in third place with a 18-5 record at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships. First-year Lucia Zhang will make her NCAA Championships debut this weekend, as the 2024 Paris Olympics competitor won silver at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships with a stellar 19-4 record.
- Sophomore Madison Duckett and junior Kaitlyn Pak both qualify for NCAA Championships in women's saber action. A silver medalist with a 16-7 at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships, Duckett will compete at the NCAA Championships for the first time in her career, while Pak is making her second-straight trip to the NCAA Championships. An All-America Second Team honoree in 2025, Pak finished in ninth place at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships, as she also earned All-Ivy League First Team honors with a 12-5 record at the Ivy League Championships earlier this year.
- On the men's side, the men's epee duo of junior Henry Lawson and sophomore Nicholas Zhang will compete for the Crimson at the NCAA Championships for a second-straight year. A two-time All-America First Team honoree and a national runner up last year, Lawson posted a 15-8 record to finish in fourth place at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships last year. A member of Team Canada's 2024 Paris Olympics roster, Zhang earned All-America Second Team honors last year and took seventh earlier this month at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships. Zhang is also the reigning Ivy League Men's Epee champion.
- A standout for the Crimson in his debut collegiate season, first-year Roy Graham will make his first ever appearance at the NCAA Championships in the men's foil competition. A silver medalist with a 18-5 record at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships, Graham is also an All-Ivy League First Team selection as well.
- Sophomore Colin Heathcock is also set to make his NCAA Championships debut this week in the men's saber competition. A member of Team USA's roster at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Heathcock earned his spot in South Bend with a fourth place showing at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships, as he also won the Ivy League Men's Saber individual title last month.
- Harvard owns two NCAA National Championships in the program's illustrious history, the first arriving in 2006 and the last during the 2024 season.
