CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Football will welcome 29 first-years to the program for the start of the 2023 season as part of the Class of 2027, Tim Murphy, The Thomas Stephenson Family Head Coach for Harvard Football, announced on Wednesday.
 
The class gives the Crimson balance across the field with 13 student-athletes on offense, 15 on defense, and one on special teams. The offensive group includes one quarterback, two running backs, four pass catchers, and six offensive linemen while the defensive side includes six defensive linemen, two linebackers, and seven defensive backs alongside one punter/kicker as a specialist.
 
The group hails from across the continental United States in addition to one student-athlete from Canada. The class includes five student-athletes from Massachusetts, three each from California, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, two each from Florida and North Carolina, and one each from Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Tennessee, and Texas alongside the Canadian province of Quebec.
