Women's Ice Hockey Announces 2023-24 Schedule

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's ice hockey has announced its 2023-24 schedule this afternoon, confirming 29 matchups on the slate with 14 being hosted at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center.

Harvard will host its second annual Hocktoberfest on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023, transforming Bright-Landry into an arena full of interactive hockey with a chance to meet Harvard Hockey coaches and staff. The team will take the ice for the first time the following night during an exhibition contest against McGill University (Oct. 6).

The Crimson will begin the 2023-24 season on the road at Dartmouth (Oct. 13) and will open Bright-Landry a week later with games against Union (Oct. 20) and RPI (Oct. 21). Harvard opens the season with nine consecutive ECAC matchups before moving into non-conference play in mid-November.

Non-conference highlights include home contests against Boston University (Nov. 14) and Sacred Heart (Jan. 2) and the Washington D.C. Shootout against Minnesota and St. Thomas at the MedStar Capitals Iceplex (Nov. 24-25).

The 45th annual Women's Beanpot Tournament will begin with the semifinal round on Jan. 16 at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center. The Crimson will host the first two games of the tournament before the action shifts over to the T.D. Garden for the final round on Jan. 23.

After battling through eight straight ECAC contests to end the season, Harvard will move into the first round of the ECAC playoffs, which will be hosted at various campus sites from Feb. 23-25.
