OTTAWA, Ontario – Sophomore guard
Chandler Piggé posted a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds, but Harvard University men's basketball fell to the University of Ottawa, 65-52, in the second game of its 2023 Canada Foreign Tour on Tuesday night at Montpetit Hall.
The Crimson held a 38-33 lead at halftime before the Gee Gees came back in the second half.
Piggé totaled 12 points, a game-high 13 rebounds, three assists, and two steals while junior guard
Evan Nelson tallied nine points, nine rebounds, and a game-best six assists.

- Sophomore guard Chandler Piggé led the Crimson with 12 points to go with a game-high 13 rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Through two games on the tour, he has averaged 12.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game.
- Junior guard Evan Nelson posted nine points, nine rebounds, and a game-high six assists. For the tour, he has averaged 13.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game.
- Sophomore forward Chisom Okpara notched nine points, five rebounds, and three assists. He has compiled 14.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game on the tour.
- Junior guard Tyler Simon registered eight points, six rebounds, and a game-high six steals while senior forward Justice Ajogbor recorded six points, six rebounds, and a game-best four blocks.

How It Happened
- The Crimson trailed 19-15 at the end of the first quarter despite eight points from Okpara.
- Harvard responded in the second quarter, opening the stanza with a 10-0 run to pull ahead 25-19 at the 6:02 mark. The visitors remained ahead 38-33 at halftime. Nelson netted seven points in the second quarter.
- The Gee Gees took a 53-42 lead through three quarters and maintained the edge in the final frame.
Sights of Canada
- In the morning, the Crimson made the approximately 200-kilometer (125-mile) bus ride from Montreal to Ottawa to reach the second city on the team's itinerary during its time in Canada.
