OTTAWA, Ontario – Junior forward
Justice Ajogbor led four Crimson in double figures with a game-high 17 points as Harvard University men's basketball beat Carleton University, 75-72, on Wednesday night at the Ravens' Nest, picking up its second win during its 2023 Canada Foreign Tour.
Competing in the third game during its time in Canada, the Crimson took a 44-35 lead at halftime behind a 23-14 second quarter and maintained the edge over the Ravens for the remainder of the second half.
Ajogbor netted his 17 points on 5-of-7 field goals and 7-of-10 free throws alongside nine rebounds. Junior guard

Harvard Highlights
- Junior forward Justice Ajogbor posted game highs in points (17), rebounds (nine), and blocks (three), while shooting 5-of-7 from the field and 7-of-10 from the three throw line. He has averaged 8.0 rebounds per game over three contests in the tour.
- Junior guard Tyler Simon netted 14 points alongside two assists. He notched his high-point total thus far on the foreign tour.
- Sophomore forward Chisom Okpara registered 13 points, a game-high nine rebounds, and two steals. He has averaged 13.7 points per game during the tour.
- Junior guard Evan Nelson tallied 13 points and seven boards. He has notched 13.0 points per game on the trip.
- Sophomore guard Chandler Piggé contributed nine points, three rebounds, and two steals. He has averaged 11.0 points per game on the tour.

How It Happened
- The two teams stood tied at 21-21 at the end of the first quarter. In the quarter, Piggé scored seven points, and Nelson registered six points and four boards.
- Harvard pulled ahead in the second quarter, using a 12-0 run to turn a 31-27 deficit into a 39-31 advantage. The visitors took a 44-35 lead into halftime. Nelson notched 11 points and seven boards in the first half.
- Through three quarters, the Crimson maintained a 57-54 edge.
- Harvard matched Carleton with an 18-18 fourth quarter behind nine points from Ajogbor and seven points from Simon in the frame. After the Ravens pulled within 66-65, Okpara and Simon scored back-to-back buckets to make it 70-65. Ajogbor scored the Crimson's last five points inside the final two minutes.
Sights of Canada
- In the morning on Wednesday, the Crimson made the short walk from its hotel to visit Parliament in downtown Ottawa, taking a guided tour of the House of Commons at West Block in one of Parliament Hill's historic buildings.
- From there, Harvard traveled to the residence of the U.S. Ambassador, meeting and having lunch with David Cohen, the U.S. Ambassador to Canada while also connecting with several other U.S. Embassy staff members.
