CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's and women's cross-country teams will race locally on Friday, Sept. 29 at the Battle in Beantown meet, hosted by Boston College at Franklin Park.

Women's 5k – 12:00 p.m.
Men's 8k – 12:30 p.m.
What to Know
• The Battle in Beantown will be Harvard's third meet of the season, following the BC Dual meet and the HYP meet. At HYP, both the men's and women's teams took second place.
Maia Ramsden won the women's race with
Ella Gilson in second and
Shane Brosnan was the top finisher for the men's team in third.
• The Harvard men's team is ranked 14
th in the nation and second in the Northeast region. The women's team ranks third in the Northeast region.
• Captains
Graham Blanks and Jack Mcdonough lead the men's team in the 2023 season. Ramsden and
Annelies Quinton lead the women's team as captains.Â
Up Next
Harvard will have a weekend off before the team splits up, with some student-athletes traveling to Wisconsin for the Nuttycombe Invite and others heading to New York, N.Y. for the IC4A/ECAC Championship meet. Both meets will take place on Friday, Oct. 13.
