CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Men's hockey remains at home for the second half of its four-game slate at Bright-Landry with a pair of conference matchups against Cornell and Colgate. In one of the biggest games of the year at Bright, Harvard welcomes its Ivy rival on Friday after taking the last seven games over the Big Red. Both games will be streamed on ESPN+ with action slated to begin at 7:00 p.m.
WHAT TO KNOW
LAST TIME OUT
- Harvard took home four of a possible six points last weekend after a Friday night win over RPI and an overtime loss to Union in the second game of the back-to-back. In its return to conference play, Harvard earned some much-needed points in the ECAC standings as it sits only five points out of third place.

SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
- Harvard closes out the season series with Colgate and Cornell this weekend after already visiting the pair on the road earlier in the season. Ben MacDonald, Joe Miller, and Alex Gaffney scored for the Crimson in the win over its Ivy rival.
- This time around, Cornell checks in at No. 13 and will be the first ranked opponent to play at Bright since Boston College over Thanksgiving weekend. The Crimson has won seven consecutive games over Cornell dating back to December of 2019.
- Winners of four straight, the Big Red began the second half of the year with five of its first six games coming against nationally ranked opponents. Opening 2024 with a pair of wins over No. 11 ASU, Cornell cruised to a 6-2 victory over Princeton before defeating the reigning national champions in overtime on Saturday night at Lynah Rink last weekend.
- Similarly, Colgate is coming off a pair of wins against Quinnipiac and Princeton after beating the Bobcats 2-1 in a tight matchup on Friday night and potting another six goals on the Tigers on Saturday.
