Men’s Lightweight Rowing Releases Schedule for 2024 Spring Season

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. –– Harvard men's lightweight rowing has officially announced its 2024 spring race schedule. 

The Crimson are set to take off on April 6 with a trip to Ithaca, N.Y., facing Ivy opponents Cornell and Penn for the Matthews-Leonard Cups. The next day, Harvard will travel back to Cambridge for a dual regatta against Georgetown on April 7. 

The following week's schedule includes the second and final home regatta of the season, as they match up against Dartmouth and MIT in the Biglin Bowl. On April 20, Harvard will travel south to Annapolis, MD in a head-to-head vs. Navy and Delaware for the Haines Cup. 

In the final dual regatta of the season, the lightweights will then face Princeton and Yale in Derby, Conn. for the Goldthwait and Vogel Cups on April 27.

Worcester will host this year's Eastern Sprints on May 19th. And to round out the year, the IRA Championships will take place in Mercer Lake, N.J. on May 31-June 2.
