CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — On Thursday, July 3, the second day of the 2025 Henley Royal Regatta, Harvard men's lightweight rowing saw its A boat continue its unbeaten run, while the B boat capped off a strong season with a hard-fought effort in the Temple Challenge Cup.

The Crimson crew launched out with trademark early speed but was ultimately edged out by one and three-quarter boat lengths. The loss brings an end to a competitive and promising season for the B squad, which consistently delivered strong performances throughout the spring.

Ben Lundie, continued its perfect run with a confident win over the University of London, finishing ahead by one and one-quarter lengths. Demonstrating control and cohesion from start to finish, the Crimson extended their unbeaten streak on one of rowing's most storied stages.

With the win, Harvard A advances to the third round of the Temple Challenge Cup, where they will face the University of Virginia. The race will be particularly personal for coxswain
