CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Benjamin Privara of Harvard men's tennis' run at the ITA New England Regionals came to a close this afternoon in the semifinals of the singles main draw.
The first-year fell to the top-seeded player, Radu Papoe (Cornell). Privara pushed Papoe to tiebreakers in the opening set before falling 7-6 (2). The Ivy foe was then able to fight off Privara, 6-1, in the second set to close the match.
Despite falling today, Privara previously won four matches while not dropping a set in his first collegiate regionals.
