NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Despite registering a handful of victories to open the day, Harvard men's tennis concluded action at the Ivy League ITA Conference Masters Qualifier this afternoon.
Mitchell Lee and
Valdemar Pape were able to advance to the semifinals of the doubles main draw, defeating Alexander Bravo and Alex Finkelstein (Brown), 8-6. The Crimson duos run came to an end after a battle with Princeton foes, Alan Kam and Evan Wen.
The Crimson picked up three additional wins on the day in both the doubles and singles consolation brackets. The pairing of
Melchior Delloye and
Masato Perera dropped Shaurya Bharadwaj and Justin Chung (Penn), 8-3.
Either Harvard player also collected singles wins. First, Delloye dropped Sanjeev Chundu (Penn) in straight sets, followed by Perera dominating tiebreakers to drop Noah Eisenberg (Cornell), 6-2, 4-6, 10-1.
