CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Erin McDermott, The John D. Nichols '53 Family Director of Athletics, announced today the promotions of several staff members in various units across Harvard's Department of Athletics.
Christian Bray is now Senior Associate Director of Athletics – Compliance and Senior Woman Administrator with continued oversight of the Crimson's compliance department and supervision of several sports.
Imry Halevi is Senior Associate Director of Athletics – Content & Strategic Communications, continuing oversight of that area including taking the lead on branding and serving as the department spokesperson. Within Halevi's team, Olivia Cooke was elevated to Director of Multimedia & Productions. Darin Wong was promoted in his role as Director of Communications. Dillon Wall has been elevated to Associate Director – Multimedia & Production, playing a critical role in the Crimson's ESPN+ broadcasts and its in-house videoboard shows.
Nick Majocha is Senior Associate Director of Athletics – Business Development, Marketing & Ticketing, adding marketing to his list of duties, along with Harvard Athletics' business development and ticketing efforts. Working alongside Majocha is Andrew Zingone, promoted to Assistant Director of Athletics – Business Strategy & Innovation. Zingone was previously in a role with the marketing team.
Promoted within his role as Harvard's Senior Associate Director of Athletics – Capital Planning & Facilities, Tim Troville will continue to oversee all the Crimson's facilities and operations, in addition to its capital planning. Working with Troville are Todd Rutledge, who has been elevated to Associate Director of Athletics – Facilities & Operations, and Greg Shields, who has received a promotion to Assistant Director of Athletics Facilities.
Harvard Athletics' equipment operations is led by the newly minted Associate Director of Athletics Alex Ferguson. Ferguson leads the Crimson's equipment operations, which is charged with providing each of Harvard's 42 varsity teams with the support needed to perform. Jeff Tessier, who works with Ferguson, has also received a promotion to Assistant Director of Athletics - Equipment Operations.
Christy Krant was promoted to Harvard Athletics' Director of Finance, providing guidance and support to all athletic department units and sport programs with budget operations.
Sean MacDonald, meanwhile, climbs the ranks in Harvard's recreation unit, earning the title of Assistant Director of Recreational Graduate Programs. MacDonald supports the Crimson's intramural and student programming efforts, focusing on the University's graduate students.
