ITHACA, N.Y. – Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving's
Remi Edvalson won both diving events on Friday on the first day of a meet at Cornell with Dartmouth. The Crimson took the first four spots on the 1-meter board and finished 1-2 in the 3-meter competition.
In the 1-meter diving event, Edvalson finished with a 6-dive score of 298.45 to finish atop the 14-athlete leaderboard. From there, it was all Harvard as
Nina Janmyr was the runner-up after posting a score of 295.40, and was followed by
Elizabeth Miclau in third (264.80) and
Amy Wotovich in fourth (259.85).
At three meters, Edvalson emerged victorious with a score of 289.70, with Miclau finishing just a couple points shy after recording a 287.95. Dartmouth's Margaret Lambdin (278.25) split the Harvard contingent with a third-place showing and was followed by Janmyr (4
th, 277.85) and Wotovich (5
th, 256.45).
The Crimson will return to Teagle Pool on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET to compete in the swimming events and to put the final touches on its trip to Ithaca.
