CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Football, after winning for a seventh consecutive game this past weekend, moved to No. 17 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 Poll and is tied for No. 21 in the AFCA FCS Coaches Poll.
Â
The Crimson jumped three spots in the Stats Perform poll and one in the coaches rankings after it rallied to defeat Penn, 31-28, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Saturday. The decision, which helped Harvard clinch at least a share of the 2024 Ivy League title, moved the Crimson to 8-1 on the season and 5-1 in conference play.
Â
Harvard's Stats Perform ranking is its highest in a media poll since it was No. 12, heading into its ninth game of 2015. The Crimson's tied-for-21
st ranking in the coaches poll is a season-best and its top ranking since it entered last year's game at Yale at No. 19.
Â
Harvard enters its final game of the season looking to secure its first outright Ivy League title since 2014. That attempt will come on Saturday when the Crimson plays host to Yale in a game that is set for a noon ET start.
