Football Ends Regular Season at No. 25 in Stats Perform Top 25 Poll

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Football completed its regular season ranked No. 25 in the Stats Perform Top 25 Poll, which was released Monday morning. The Crimson finished 2024 with an 8-2 record (5-2 Ivy League) and won a share of the conference title for the second straight season.

For the third time in four years, Harvard won eight games. The program has now won at least six games in four straight seasons. In those four campaigns, the Crimson is 30-10 and owns the ninth-best winning percentage (.750) among all FCS schools (No. 1 in Ivy). Its .750 success rate also ranks tied-for-16th in all of Division I (FBS and FCS).

The Crimson's Ivy League championship, meanwhile, represented the program's 19th in program history, a number that ranks second in the conference. Harvard shared the title with Dartmouth and Columbia, two teams it beat in the regular season.

This year marks the first time in Harvard recorded history that the Crimson has been ranked post-regular season. Harvard, which received votes early in the season, did not crack the top-25 rankings until it defeated the Big Green in Hanover, New Hampshire. The Crimson went into the Columbia game ranked No. 25 in the AFCA FCS Coaches Poll and No. 24 in the Stats Perform rankings. After it dismissed the Lions, Harvard moved to No. 22/20 for the game at Penn before getting to T-No. 21/17 leading into its season finale last weekend.
