HANOVER, N.H. – Harvard women's squash continued its impressive start to the 2024-25 season this evening by earning a 9-0 win over the Big Green. The Crimson (2-0, 0-0 Ivy) dropped just four games on its way to a 9-0 win over the Big Green, the team's second consecutive sweep.
How It Happened
Harvard women's squash made the trip up to New Hampshire to take on the Dartmouth Big Green for the 58
th time in the series history. The Crimson wasted no time, picking up three quick victories out of the gates.
Habiba Eldafrawy,
Molly Stoltz and
Brecon Welch earned the first three victories of the day to put the Crimson out in front.
Lucie Stefanoni and
Amira Singh both earned fast-paced 3-0 sweeps, dropping just 13 and 17 points in their victories, respectively.
Emma Carney rounded out the second wave with a win after outlasting her opponent in a 3-2 thriller.
Saran Nghiem,
Ocean Ma and
Sarita Popat closed out play on the evening with three more victories from the first, fourth and ninth positions on the ladder. Nghiem win her match 3-1 while the first-years Ma and Popat both earned 3-0 sweeps.
