No. 2 Women's and No. 4 Men's To Take On Drexel This Weekend

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's and women's squash is set to compete in its final regular season matchup of the season this weekend when it travels to Philadelphia to take on the Drexel Dragons. The Crimson Men (9-3, 5-2 Ivy) and Women (9-1, 6-0 Ivy) will battle the Dragons on Saturday (Feb. 17). 

HARVARD WOMEN'S SQUASH NOTEABLES

  • Harvard women's squash enters the match with No. 10 Drexel holding a 9-1 overall record in 2023-24.
  • The Crimson downed No. 11 Tufts last time out in an 8-1 victory. The program reachedt the 500-win milestone with the victory.
  • Individually, the Crimson has combined for a 78-12 record this season.
  • First-year, Lucie Stefanoni, holds the only unbeaten mark, posting an 8-0 record to this point of her first collegiate season.
  • Ella GalovaSaran Gregory-NghiemSerena Daniel and Brecon Welch lead the team with nine wins on the year.
  • Drexel enters the match ranked 10th in the nation and holds a 6-6 record.  
  • In the all-time series with the Dragons, the Crimson remains undefeated, holding a 6-0 record.

HARVARD MEN'S SQUASH NOTEABLES

  • The Crimson improved to 9-3 on the season after its match win against Tufts.
  • Individually, Harvard has posted a 79-29 combined record on the year.
  • Tate Harms leads the team with 11 wins on the year, six of which have come from the no. 4 spot on the ladder. He remains undefeated in the no. 3 spot with four wins.
  • Denis Gilevskiy reached the 10-win mark this past weekend, playing at the no. 4 spot for the first time this season.
  • The Dragons' men's side has collected an 8-5 record in 2023-24 and is currently ranked at no. 8 in the CSA standings.
  • In the all-time series with the Dragons, the Crimson remains undefeated, holding a 7-0 record.

UP NEXT

This will be both teams' last regular season match of 2023-24. The Crimson will travel back to Philadelphia to compete in the CSA National Championships at the end of the month (Feb. 29-Mar. 3).
