No. 4 Men’s Squash Rolls to 8-1 Win over No. 13 Tufts

MEDFORD, Mass. – Harvard men's squash earned another convincing win tonight, recording an 8-1 victory over the No. 13 Tufts Jumbos. The Crimson (9-3, 5-2 Ivy) swept six of nine matches in the match to come away with the victory over its crosstown foe. Harvard captured the win in its penultimate regular season matchup and will now have the weekend to recover before traveling to Philadelphia for its final regular season matchup against Drexel. 



HOW IT HAPPENED
Tate Harms and Neel Joshi took care of business at three and seven, respectively, posting 3-0 sweeps to capture the first two points of the match for Harvard. Jacob Lin added a win at six after his opponent retired with the match at two games to one in favor of Lin. 

Senior captain, Ido Burstein, led the charge in the second wave with his 3-0 win at the two spot on the ladder. Marcus Lee got the win at the nine spot to clinch the match for the Crimson. Liam Rotzoll closed out the second wave of pariings with a win at the five spot in straight sets. 

In the final three matches, Denis Gilevskiy posted a 3-0 win at the four spot and Omar Azzam outlasted his opponent in a competitive 3-2 win at the top of the ladder. Conner Stoltz closed out the match with a hard-fought 1-3 loss in the ninth matchup.
