Box Score AMHERST, N.Y. – Harvard men's volleyball (7-5, 3-1 EIVA) starts a two-game winning streak with 3-1 victory over No. 20 Daemen University (11-3, 6-0 NEC) this evening at the Charles. L & Gloria B. Lumsden Gymnasium. 
 
The Crimson began the night with a strong start, grabbing a multi-point lead within the first few minutes. As the match continued into back-and-forth play, 
Owen Fanning helped the Crimson to stay on top by grabbing six kills in the set alone. Ultimately the Crimson were able to take the match after a massive kill by 
Trevor Schultz and an attack error by the Wildcats in a close 28-26 victory.
Harvard looked to be building momentum in the second set as they jumped out to a 3-1 lead. However, the Wildcats responded, able to overtake the Crimson. The Wildcats pulled out to a five-point lead toward the end of the set, to which the Crimson could not respond, leaving the second at 20-25.
 
Fighting back in the third set, Harvard was able to keep the score close to start it out. The Crimson was able to pull ahead in the middle of the set by consistently grabbing two- and three-point leads over the Wildcats. 
James Bardin stood out in this set, assisting on eight points in the set alone. The Crimson were also able to serve three service aces. 
Trevor Schultz delivered a kill that was followed by three Wildcat attack errors to end the third at 25-16.
 
Harvard was able to clinch the win in the fourth set, finishing it at 25-20. In this set, the Crimson, once again, were able to grab multi-point leads throughout, going on a few runs to take them to 12-6 midway through. 
Logan Shepherd delivered throughout, grabbing six kills, including the final point of the game. Harvard held a .435 hitting percentage in this set to seal the victory.
Harvard Highlights
	- Owen Fanning led all Crimson players with 16 kills on the night. He was also credited with nine digs.
- James Bardin had a strong night, being credited with four kills, 45 assists and a hitting percentage of .571.
- Logan Shepherd led the team in digs with 15 and grabbed 15.5 points on the night.
- Trevor Schultz was a leader all around grabbing 11 kills, one block, six digs and holding a hitting percentage of .435
- As a team the Crimson registered a .395 hitting percentage throughout the match to best the Wildcats .245.
- Harvard registered six service aces to the Wildcats one with the help of James Bardin, Zach Berty and Shepherd who grabbed two apiece.
- With the win, the Crimson registered its second straight victory over a ranked opponent, defeating No. 14 Princeton last weekend.

The Crimson will return to action tomorrow afternoon to face off in Buffalo, N.Y. against D'Youville at 1:00 p.m. The game will be streamed on NEC Front Row.
