CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – During the 2023-24 season, Harvard women's basketball entered its second year under the helm of
Carrie Moore, the Kathy Delaney-Smith Head Coach for Harvard Women's Basketball.
The Crimson finished the season 16-12 overall and 9-5 in conference action, earning the No. 3 seed in its fifth consecutive Ivy Madness appearance.
As a team the Crimson ranked first in the Ivy League in three-point percentage defense, holding its opponents to 29.1%, while also ranking second in assists (14.5), third in scoring (68.9), field goal percentage (43.0%), three-point field goal percentage (31.7%), and three-point field goals made (6.6).
As the sole active senior on the squad
Lola Mullaney's experience was used throughout the entirety of the season. To end her career, Mullaney has cemented herself as one of the greatest players in Harvard women's basketball history, ranking seventh in points with 1,537, sixth in field goals made with 545, and second in three-point field goals made with 278.
Despite missing five games during the end of non-conference action,
Harmoni Turner had another standout year on the court. The junior led the team in points (19.3), field goals (164), assists (4.3), and steals (2.2). At the conclusion of her third season Turner ranks 10
th in scoring with 1,379 points, eighth in assists with 307, third in steals with 188, and eighth in field goals made with 522.
Katie Krupa had a breakout season for the Crimson by starting all 28 games and raising her scoring average 6.0 from her first year. In 2023-24, the sophomore accumulated 316 points while shooting 50.4% from the field and 43.1% from distance, 79 rebounds, 50 assists, 24 blocks, and 22 steals.
