CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's basketball announced today its 29-game schedule packed with NCAA Tournament teams, in-state rivals, and its annual Ivy lineup. The Crimson will play a record seven Power conference opponents during non-conference play, including three on its home floor. Harvard's season will get underway on Monday, Nov. 2 in Minneapolis, Minn., against the University of Minnesota.
The Crimson will have a packed opening month consisting of 11 games in a four-week span. After opening its season in the Midwest, Harvard will return to New England for three straight contests against in-state foes. The Crimson will face Boston College (Nov. 5) and UMass (Nov. 11) in Lavietes while traveling to Holy Cross (Nov. 9) in between.
Following its matchup with the Minutewomen, the Crimson will welcome a pair of Power conference opponents to Cambridge. First, in a rematch of its 2025 NCAA Tournament matchup, Harvard will face the Michigan State Spartans on Nov. 15. Three days later, Harvard will take on Syracuse, another 2026 NCAA Tournament team. It will mark the first time in program history that the Crimson will welcome three Power conference opponents to Lavietes Pavilion.
Harvard will then travel to the Mountain West to face Colorado State and Wyoming on Nov. 20 and 22, respectively. Prior to Thanksgiving, the Crimson will return to Cambridge to face Illinois State in its final home game of the month.
Following the holiday, Harvard will compete at the Christmas City Classic hosted by Lehigh University, with contests slated for Nov. 28 and 29 against Pitt and Liberty, respectively.
The team will remain on the road entering the new month with two more games in three days, taking on West Virginia on Dec. 4 and Marshall on Dec. 6. After the four-game swing, the Crimson will host UC Davis in its final non-conference home game of the season on Dec. 20.
To cap off a loaded non-conference slate, Harvard will travel to the University of Texas on Dec. 28. The 2026 Final Four team will be the Crimson's sixth Power conference opponent of the season.
Harvard will ring in the new year on Jan. 2 with the start of the annual Ivy League slate, welcoming Dartmouth to Lavietes. The Crimson will also face Princeton (Jan. 16), Penn (Jan. 18), and Cornell (Jan. 23) at home during the first half of the season while traveling to Columbia (Jan. 9), Brown (Jan. 29), and Yale (Jan. 30). The latter half of the Ivy slate will consist of trips to Dartmouth (Feb. 6), Cornell (Feb. 20), Princeton (Feb. 26), and Penn (Feb. 27) and along with home contests against Brown (Feb. 12) and Yale (Feb. 13), before capping off the regular season against Columbia on Mar. 6.
With a stacked schedule, 13 returning players from last year's roster, and adding three talents first-years, the Crimson is poised to make a run at an Ivy League title and a return to the NCAA Tournament.
