Peter Diebold, and Ward made more history, setting a new school record of 3:06.74 en route to a first place finish.
HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS:
- The Crimson's time at the 2024 IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Championships began on a high note, as the men's 4x100m relay team set a new school record with a time of 39.82, taking second place in the process.
- In the men's 400m, a pair of Harvard runners earned top-10 finishes. The 2024 indoor Ivy League champion in the 400m, Lapit took sixth place, while senior Jonathan Gamarra ran his fastest time this season (47.48) on his way to seventh place.
- Senior Egbe Ndip-Agbor earned a spot on the podium in the women's 400m, clocking her quickest time in 2024 to take third place, finishing the race in 54.49.
- The women's 200m saw Ndip-Agbor orchestrate another stellar performance, as she won the event with a time of 24.10, a new personal best and tied for ninth all-time in school history.
- Sophomore Ondrej Vesely posted a sixth place finish in the men's 400 hurdles, crossing the finish line in 52.68.
- The meet ended on a high note, as the men's 4x400m relay team crossed the finish line in 3:06.74, setting a new program record.
