CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Sailing is slated to play host to its Alumni and Reunion Regattas later this month. The Alumni event is scheduled for May 11, while the Reunion race is set for May 28 at Harvard Sailing Center.
 
The Alumni Regatta is open to all former Harvard Sailing team members, their families and crew members, with report time slated for noon on May 11. First warning will be at 1 p.m., and there will be no starting signal after 5 p.m. Harvard Z420s and/or Collegiate FJs will be provided to all competitors. A cookout and refreshments will also follow the regatta. Interested former Crimson sailors are asked to RSVP to head coach Michael O'Connor (mgo@fas.harvard.edu) by May 10 at 1 p.m.
 
Harvard's Reunion Regatta, meanwhile, is open to all former Harvard Sailing team members and their families. Report time on May 28 will be at 1 p.m., with first warning coming at 1:30 p.m., and no starting signal after 5 p.m. Harvard Z420s and/or Collegiate FJs will be provided to all competitors, who will be provided refreshments after the event. Former Harvard sailors who are interested in returning to Harvard Sailing Center are asked to RSVP to O'Connor by May 26 at 1 p.m.
 
The Crimson varsity team returns to the Charles River on May 20 for the start of the ICSA Women's Fleet Racing National Championship. The regatta will run through May 23, with the open event scheduled for May 24-27. Harvard will co-host both regattas with MIT.
