NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association revealed the All-Academic honors for the 2023-24 collegiate season, as both Harvard track & field teams placed in the top-30 of the All-Academic Team rankings, while 24 student-athletes garnered All-Academic Athlete honors from the USTFCCCA.
Harvard men's track & field posted a 3.70 team grade point average, the second-highest mark in the nation, just behind a 3.77 team GPA from Creighton. The Crimson lead the Ivy League, as 13 student-athletes from the men's team earned All-Academic status this season. At the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Championships, Harvard finished in a tie for 16
th in the team standings with 17 points.
The Crimson women posted a 3.64 GPA this season, putting them in 26
th place in the country and second in the nation. 11 Crimson gained All-Academic status from the USTFCCCA, as the women's team finished in a tie for 23
rd at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
The 24 Crimson earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete recognition after maintaining a cumulative 3.25 grade point average, along with competing at any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships, or finish in the top-48 in any event during the indoor season.
