CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's tennis opened its 2024 fall season this afternoon with competition at its annual home tournament, Chowderfest. The Crimson collected a trio of doubles wins as well as a pair of singles victories courtesy of
Melchior Delloye and
Mitchell Lee.
The No. 84 nationally ranked dup of Bejamin Privara and
Masato Perera collected their first win as a duo, defeating Rushil Khoshla and Eric Verdes (Cornell), 7-6 (3).
Rohan Murali and Delloye posted an identical result as they took down Petar Teodorovic and Aman Sharma (Cornell).
Lee and
Valdemar Pape recorded the final doubles victory of the day, besting Adam Duda and Idriss Haddouch (Boise State), 6-3.
Lee recorded his first collegiate victories in both doubles and singles action after downing James van Herzeele (Boise State) in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4. Delloye carried his successes from last year into his junior season by recorded the second singles win of the day after defeating Ivy foe, Aman Sharma (Cornell), 6-4, 6-2.
