CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Wrestling hosts two home duals this Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Malkin Athletic Center. The Crimson will face Cornell at 12:00 p.m. ET and Binghamton at 2:00 p.m. ET. Both matches will stream on ESPN+ and internationally.

WHAT TO KNOW

• The Crimson have started the dual season with an 0-2 record.
• Harvard tied with American last Friday, Jan. 17, but lost on a technicality due to total points.
• No. 18 Diego Sotelo, a 125-pound senior, was named Ivy League Wrestler of the Week last week after going undefeated in both duals. He posted a 2-0 record with a pin against American and a sudden-victory win over Navy. Sotelo is second on the team in total wins (9) and has won six straight.
• No. 30 Jimmy Harrington, a 157-pound junior, leads the team with 10 wins this season. He went 1-1 in his dual matches this past weekend.
• The team captains are seniors Sotelo, Cael Berg, and Luke Rada.
• Rada earned his first dual win of the season last week against Navy at 184 pounds.
• First-year Logan Brzozowski earned his first dual win of the season, defeating Navy at 133 pounds. Brzozowski, normally a 125-pound wrestler, stepped up and secured a win for his team.
• Sophomore Matthew Walsh, an 184-pound wrestler, is 4-2 in his last six matches, including an 8-2 win in his only dual appearance over the weekend against American. He looks to continue his momentum.
• 149-pound wrestler Jaden Pepe and 141-pound wrestler Dante Frinzi also earned wins for the Crimson, both coming against American.
• No. 12 Cornell brings seven ranked wrestlers into this weekend's match, including the No. 2 wrestler at 157 pounds, Meyer Shapiro.
• Binghamton enters with five ranked wrestlers, including No. 14 Brevin Cassella at 174 pounds. The last time the Crimson defeated Binghamton was in 2022 at the Malkin Athletic Center.
