Football Climbs in Both Major Top-25 Polls

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Football climbed in both major top-25 polls on Monday, following last Friday's Ivy League victory over Cornell. The Crimson jumped four spots to No. 18 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 Poll and five positions to No. 20 in the AFCA FCS Coaches Poll.

Harvard is one of eight undefeated teams in the country and is coming off a 34-10 home win over the Big Red Friday night. The Crimson received two defensive touchdowns, one on a fumble recovery by Austin-Jake Guillory and another on a pick-6 by Jack Donahoe. Offensively, Jaden Craig threw for 237 yards and one touchdown, and rushed for another. Brady Blackburn, meanwhile, recorded his second straight 100-yard receiving game with 101 on the night.

The Crimson's AFCA ranking is its highest since it was No. 19 heading into its last game of the 2023 campaign. Its Stats Perform ranking on the other hand is its best since it checked in at No. 17 going into its final outing of 2024.

Harvard continues its homestand on Saturday when Merrimack visits Tim Murphy Field at Harvard Stadium. Kick-off is set for noon ET, with the game airing on ESPN+. All fans in attendance will receive a replica Crimson football jersey, while supplies last. Tickets are available at GoCrimson.com.
