CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Olivia Jones of Harvard women's basketball took home the first Ivy League Rookie of the Week honor of the season, the league announced this afternoon. 

In her first two collegiate games, Jones averaged 7.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.  First, against St. John's the Pennsylvania native grabbed five boards and scored all four of her points in the fourth quarter.  Included in her totals was a crucial board and two free throws to put Harvard up three with ten seconds remaining. 

Two days later, Jones was a bright spot in Harvard's offensive against No. 13 Michigan.  The first-year tallied 11 points on 3-of-7 shooting and 4-for-4 from the charity stripe while also pulling down six rebounds. 

Jones and the Crimson will get right back to work as their next game is set for tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. ET against in-state rival, the University of Massachusetts.
