CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After an incredibly successful opening weekend at the Elite Invitational earlier this month, Harvard fencing will return to the Malkin Athletic Center for the 2025 iteration of the Fencing Beanpot.

here. Admission to the Beanpot at the Malkin Athletic Center is free of charge.
WHAT TO KNOW:
- Both Crimson squads were superb at the Elite Invitational to kick-off the 2025 collegiate slate. The women's team dominated the field, orchestrating a perfect 8-0 record, while the men's team also impressed with a 7-1 mark in Columbus, Ohio.
- A two-time Olympian and two-time All-America First Team honoree, junior Jessica Zi Jia Guo was excellent at the Elite Invitational. The 2024 NCAA Women's Foil National Champion, Guo complied a remarkable 21-1 record in foil competition at the Elite Invitational. Along with Guo, first-year Lucia Zhang was stellar in her collegiate debut, posting a 18-4 record at the Elite Invitational as well.
- Sophomores Sarah Gu and Yasmine Khamis shined in women's epee at the Elite Invitational as well. Gu posted a 17-3 mark across two days of competition, as Khamis went 16-5 in Columbus as well.
- All three of the women's saber fencers recorded double-digit wins at the Elite Invitational. Junior Kaitlyn Pak led the line with a 17-6 record, as senior Zoe Kim and sophomore Madison Duckett each earned 15 wins as well.
- On the men's side, first-year Roy Graham was running the show for the Crimson in men's foil action, as the Springfield, Virginia native posted a team-best 19-2 record at the Elite Invitational. Junior Daniel Zhang and sophomore Andrew Chen both collected double-digit wins as well.
- A pair of All-Americans last season, sophomore Nicholas Zhang and junior Henry Lawson each tallied 10 or more wins in Columbus to start the collegiate season. Zhang led the way with a 16-7 record, while Lawson posted a 13-8 mark.
- A pair of first-years impressed in men's saber in their collegiate debuts. Cody Ji and Taylor each collected 18 wins, while sophomore Tommy Choi posted 10 wins as well.
- Harvard is looking to sweep the Beanpot for the 17th straight year.
