Bramley Named Assistant Coach for Men’s and Women’s Diving

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.Ben Bramley has been named an assistant diving coach for the Harvard Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving programs. The former Division I athlete arrives at Harvard after diving for four seasons at Purdue.
 
Bramley, who went to nearby Belmont Hill School before graduating and competing for the Boilermakers, enjoyed a decorated collegiate career in West Lafayette, Indiana.
 
During his time at Purdue, Bramley was the recipient of the Big 10 Medal of Honor and the John Wooden Leadership Award, while being the sole male athlete nominee for the 2021-22 Big 10 Wayne Duke Postgraduate Scholarship Award. He also earned Academic All-America (2020-22), Academic All-Big 10 (2019-22), Big 10 Distinguished Scholar (2019-22) and CSCAA Scholar All-America (2018-22) accolades for his performance in the classroom. A captain for the Boilermaker diving team in 2021-22, Bramley logged second- and sixth-place finishes on the 10-meter platform at the NCAA Championship.
 
Bramley also brings with him 10 years of Team USA experience (2012-22), competing internationally on the platform. In 2019 alone, Bramley represented the United States at the World Championships in South Korea where he finished in eighth place in the 10-meter synchronized platform event and at the Pan American Games in Peru. Bramley also finished in sixth place (2016) and 12th place (2021) at the U.S. Olympic Trials on the 10-meter platform.
 
Since graduating from Purdue in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in finance, Bramley has served on USA Diving's Board of Directors (2022-23), and worked for Aurora Energy Research (Austin, Texas), AGC Partners (Boston) and JP Morgan Private Bank (Boston).
