No. 7 Men’s Squash Ends Regular Season with 8-1 Win Over No. 19 MIT

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 7 Harvard Crimson prevailed in the crosstown rivalry against the No. 19 MIT Engineers on Tuesday night at the Murr Squash Center. Harvard (8-5, 3-3 Ivy) picked up the win in its final regular season contest of the season, earning its 50th consecutive victory over its Cambridge foe with an 8-1 result.
 

How it Happened

Harvard men's squash wrapped up its regular season slate this afternoon with a crosstown showdown with the No. 19 MIT Engineers at the Murr Squash Center. The Crimson was looking to build more momentum heading into the CSA Team National Championship Tournament next month.
 
At the top of the Crimson ladder, Denis Gilevskiy earned a 3-0 win in sweeping fashion to pick up his ninth victory of the season. Neel Joshi continued his spectacular season, earning a 3-0 win at the second position. Jacob Lin powered through to pick up a 3-1 win at threes and Segev Rome followed the lead with a win at fours.
 
Tate Harms bounced back in a big way, earning a 3-2 win at the five spot. Conner Stoltz and Louis Murray earned a pair of 3-0 wins at the sixth and seventh positions. Marcus Lee capped off the match with a 3-1 win at the eighth position to send Harvard into postseason play with an 8-1 victory.
