PRINCETON, N.J. – Two members of the Harvard women's hockey team were honored by the Ivy League this morning after landing on a pair of the All-Ivy League teams. Senior captain and defender,
Mia Biotti, was honored with a spot on the All-Ivy League Second Team while fellow senior captain,
Jenna MacDonald, was named Academic All-Ivy League Team.
Biotti started nearly every game for the Crimson this season and collected six points with a goal and five assists. The Cambridge native helped Harvard break a single season blocked shots record by blocking 61 shots herself on the year. A well-disciplined defender, Biotti was only charged with one penalty all season despite begin among the team leaders in ice time. The senior ended her Harvard career with six goals and 32 assists to total 38 points during her time on the ice at Harvard.
After a strong performance on the ice and in the classroom during the 2024-25 campaign, senior captain and defender,
Jenna MacDonald, was honored with a spot on the Academic All-Ivy League Team. MacDonald adds this honor to her three consecutive ECAC All-Academic Team awards that she has received since her first-year season. On the ice, MacDonald also helped Harvard break the single season record in blocked shots by recording a team-high 70 blocks on the year. The Walpole native notched two points on the year, one of which was the game-winning goal in the season opening victory against No. 8 UConn.
