CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - February 5, 2025 - Harvard women's squash continued to roll this evening with a 9-0 seep over the No. 16 Middlebury Panthers. The Crimson (10-1, 6-0 Ivy) recorded its fifth consecutive win with a perfect match against the Panthers.
How It Happened
The Crimson was back on its home courts tonight to take on the Panthers in its penultimate regular season match of the 2024-25 season.
At the top of the ladder,
Lucie Stefanoni cruised to a 3-0 win, outscoring her opponent, 33-9 in the match.
Habiba Eldafrawy followed the lead, recording a 3-0 win from the second position.
Ocean Ma added another 3-0 win at the third position to complete the sweep at the top three positions on the ladder.
Molly Stoltz recorded her first career win from the fourth position with a dominant straight game victory, outscoring her opponent 33-10.
Amira Singh and
Brecon Welch continued the trend for Harvard, earning 3-0 wins at the fifth and sixth positions.
Emma Carney moved up to the seventh position in the match and performed well, sweeping her opponent to pick up her sixth win of the season.
Sarita Popat and
Ella Galova got the starts at eight and nine, completing a perfect sweep for Harvard with 3-0 wins at both positions. Popat outscored her opposition, 33-9 to pick up her fourth win of the season.
