CRIMSON AND KNIGHTS BY THE NUMBERS

  • Clarkson enters the series on a four-game winning streak against Harvard, while the Crimson had won three straight before that stretch.
  • Over the last 10 seasons, Harvard and Clarkson have met three times in the ECAC playoffs, all in the semifinals. Clarkson has won two of those matchups, with Harvard's last playoff victory coming in 2022 en route to an ECAC Championship.
PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
  • Aku Koskenvuo and Mick Thompson were both named ECAC Players of the Week following the win over RPI.
  • Leading the way in the 5-2 victory, Thompson was named ECAC Bitcoin Rookie of the Week after recording three points. Koskenvuo was named MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week after making 36 saves on 38 shots.
  • It is Thompson's second ECAC Bitcoin Rookie of the Week honor, following his two-goal, one-assist performance against RPI earlier in the season. The Mississauga, Ontario native tied the game at one in the first period, scored again on a breakaway in the second, and assisted on Severo's power-play goal.
  • Thompson became just the seventh rookie since 2002 to record three points in a playoff game and the first since Sean Farrell in 2022. Named National Rookie of the Month last week, Thompson has been on a tear, registering nine points in his last four games, including three three-point performances.
  • Koskenvuo also earns his second MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week honor after another stellar playoff performance. The Finnish netminder continued his dominance in early postseason matchups.
  • Last season, he posted a 38-save shutout over Princeton in the opening round and was also named ECAC Goaltender of the Week. Over his last two first-round playoff games, he has stopped 72 of 74 shots.
