CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Wrestling is set to compete in the NCAA Tournament this weekend, with junior
Jimmy Harrington qualifying at the No. 29 seed in the 157-pound weight class and senior captain
Diego Sotelo named the first alternate in the 125-pound class. The tournament will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, starting on Thursday, March 20, at 12:00 p.m. ET.

WHAT TO KNOW

Jimmy Harrington, the No. 29 seed, is making his NCAA debut after earning an at-large bid. He will face off against No. 4 seed Rafael Hiplito of Virginia Tech in the first round, scheduled for Thursday at 12:00 p.m. ET.
- Harrington enters the tournament with a 14-12 record, having finished 2-2 at the inaugural Ivy Championship.
- A standout in the Crimson lineup, Harrington leads the team with six total falls this season, two of which came at the Ivy Championship.
- Senior captain
Diego Sotelo is the first alternate in the 125-pound weight class. Should any wrestler be disqualified, Sotelo would step into their position, giving him the opportunity for a third NCAA Tournament appearance.
- Sotelo finished the regular season with a 12-6 record, including a 2-2 mark at the Ivy Championship. Earlier this season, he was named Ivy Wrestler of the Week.
