CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – With the 2025 NCAA East First Round on the horizon, Harvard track & field took part in the MIT Final Qualifier, looking to make an impact in Cambridge.
HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS:
- Harvard started the day on the straightaway, as two Crimson finished in the top five of the women's 100m. Junior Mfoniso Andrew finished in fourth place with a time of 11.98 in the final, while sophomore Mickaila Haisley won the event after running a 11.80.
- In the women's 100m hurdles, junior Fabiola Belibi finished in third place, doing so with a time of 13.92.
- A pair of Harvard student-athletes earned a spot on the podium in the women's 1500m. Senior Marianne Mihas ran a season-best 4:20.61 to finish in second place, while first-year Abigail Sadler finished in third place, posting a career-best 4:26.01.
- Junior Justin Levy featured in the men's 800m, as the Waban, Massachusetts native took 13th place after posting a time of 1:52.14.
- Running in the first heat of the women's 400m hurdles, junior Jacklynn Okereke posted a time of 1:01.45, finishing in fourth place.
- The action on the track ended with the women's 200m, as sophomore Marta Amani shined in the women's 200m, recording a fourth place finish with a time of 24.80.
- Two Crimson participated in the women's hammer throw. Senior Cara Salsberry captured second place with a throw of 56.08m (184'0"), while sophomore Alice Mihas finished in fourth place after posting a 53.80m (176'6").
- Salsberry also competed in the women's discus throw, winning the event with a throw of 47.48m (155'9").
- The women's shot put saw first-year Tyler Glover capture second place after recording a 15.00m (49'2.5").
