CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard-Radcliffe Lightweight Rowing will compete at the IRA National Championships this week in Camden, New Jersey. The three-day regatta is scheduled for Friday, May 30-Sunday, June 1, on the Cooper River, with the lightweight action running from Saturday-Sunday.

What to Know
- All three days of competition will stream live on Overnght.
- Women's lightweight rowing will commence on Saturday at 8 a.m., with the 2x, and be followed by the four and eight at 8:16 and 8:24 a.m., respectively. Sunday will also start at 8 a.m., with the 2x petite final, followed by the grand final at 8:10 a.m. The lightweight four grand final is scheduled for 8:30 a.m., with the lightweight eight grand final tentatively set for 10:30 a.m.
- Last season at IRAs, Harvard-Radcliffe finished in third place in varsity eight race, sixth in the varsity four and ninth in the 2x. The Black and White's bronze performance in West Windsor, New Jersey, marked the first time it earned a medal since 2016.
- When Harvard-Radcliffe takes the water this weekend, it will be in search of its sixth national championship. The Black and White emerged victorious in 1990, 1995, 1996, 1997 and 2014.
- Since returning to action in 2022, after two seasons off due to the pandemic, Harvard-Radcliffe has finished in the top five at the IRA regatta three straight years. It came in fifth place in 2022 and 2023, before its third-place showing 12 months ago.
- Harvard-Radcliffe is returning to the water for the first time since May 4, when it was the runner-up in the first varsity eight race and the varsity four. Its 2x entry finished in sixth place.
