NORTHBROOK, Ill. – Three Harvard winter student-athletes were named as nominees to the 2025-26 Allstate NACDA Good Works Team, the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics announced today.
The 2025-26 Allstate NACDA Good Works Team (winter) nominees spotlight student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional service to their communities across 15 collegiate sports, including basketball, bowling, indoor track & field, swimming and diving and wrestling.
Isabella Alas, Nico Hensch, and
Xavier Nesbitt are among the 180 nominees for the winter season as Harvard's three nominees are the most in the Ivy League.
A selection committee will choose 20 nominees – 10 female and 10 male student-athletes – to join the final 2025-26 Allstate NACDA Good Works Team.

Nico Hensch | Men's Swim and Dive

- Co-president of Project Swim
- Organization provides children with Down's syndrome, Rett syndrome and autism spectrum disorder with access to swimming facilities
- Serves children in Cambridge and Boston communities
Xavier Nesbitt | Men's Basketball
Cause: Youth Empowerment
- Through Harvard Men's Basketball's existing relationship with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston and a fellowship with The Team, a nonpartisan civic engagement organization, Xavier Nesbitt organized a basketball clinic and civic engagement talk at the Charlestown Boys and Girls Club during the 2024–25 academic year.
- The event brought together 30-40 kids for a day focused on basketball, inspiration, and community.
- With support from his teammates, the clinic blended sport, mentorship, and meaningful dialogue.
- The event demonstrated how athletes can serve as powerful role models both on and off the court.
