CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Harvard men's squash is prepared to head off to Hartford this Friday to go toe-to-toe with the No.1 team in the nation, the Trinity Bantams before hosting No. 4 Yale on the program's senior day. Facing their biggest test to date, the second-ranked Crimson (6-0, 3-0 Ivy) will take on the Trinity Bantams on the road, looking to secure a massive result. On Sunday, the Crimson will return to Ivy League play to host the No. 4 Bulldogs
The Matchup
Harvard men's squash looks to lengthen their win streak this Friday to seven in another non-conference matchup. The top-ranked Bantams have been cruising up to this point, winning their first seven matches of the season.
Yale heads into the weekend with a 4-1 record and a 2-0 mark in conference play after defeating Penn and Princeton (both by 5-4 scorelines) two weeks ago.

The Crimson men's squash team is off to a 6-0 start after defeating No. 10 Cornell (Jan. 18th). Harvard swept the opposition 9-0 at home. The group recently moved up in the CSA National rankings, taking the No. 2 spot in the poll.
Five student-athletes on the Crimson ladder own perfect 6-0 individual records this season including
Omar Azzam,
Alexander Broadbridge,
Christian Capella,
Jacob Lin, and
Segev Rome.
Series History
In the series against the Bantams, Harvard boasts a favorable 40-31 record in this historic series, with the first match dating back to 1947. The Crimson have won six of the last eight meetings between the schools.
Harvard owns an 83-25 record in the conflict against Yale that dates to 1925. The Bulldogs have fought back in recent years, currently holding a three-match win streak against the Crimson. Prior the the run from Yale, Harvard had won 13 matches in a row against the Ivy foe.
Recent Achievements
- Five members of the Crimson competed in the CSA Individual National Championships this past weekend in New York, New York.
- Junior Omar Azzam reached the semifinals of the Pool trophy draw and competed at Grand Central Terminal on the Tournament of Champions glass court.
