Bronte-May Brough is one of four finalists from across the nation. Brough is joined by Syracuse's Bo van Kempen, Princeton's Beth Yeager and Northwestern's Maddie Zimmer.
The Honda Sport Award is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, as the award recognizes the nation's top women athletes across 12 NCAA-sanctioned sports. The recipient will become a finalist for the prestigious Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and the Class of 2025 Honda Cup, to be presented live on Monday, July 27, at 7 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network.
One of the most decorated and accomplished student-athletes in school history, Brough is only the second Crimson in program history to earn All-America status four times, as Uttoxeter, England native is the first student-athlete in program history to earn All-America First Team honors twice.
A two-time Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year, Brough anchored a Crimson defense that ranked among the nation's best this season, as Harvard was second in both goals allowed (16) and goals against average (0.70). Brough also found success off the field during her collegiate tenure, earning NFHCA Scholar Athlete honors three times.
Harvard field hockey enjoyed the best season in school history in 2025, as the Crimson advanced to the NCAA Tournament Semifinals for the second time in program history. Harvard won the Ivy League regular season title and ended the year with a 19-2 record, setting the program record for the most wins in a single season.
