Football’s Craig, Osborne Garner FCS ADA Academic All-Star Honors; Selected as Finalists for FCS ADA Postgraduate Scholarships

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Football senior quarterback Jaden Craig and senior tight end Ryan Osborne have both earned spots on the 28th annual FCS ADA Academic All-Star Team and gained recognition as finalists for the FCS ADA Postgraduate Scholarship, the Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) announced on Tuesday morning.
 
Craig, who set Harvard program records for career passing yards (6,074) and career passing touchdowns (52), earned several honors this past season including unanimous First Team All-Ivy honors, the Harry Agganis/Harold Zimman Award for the Outstanding Player in New England, All-New England, All-ECAC, and Walter Payton Award Finalist honors. Craig threw for 2,869 yards and 25 touchdowns this past season, completing 61.5 percent of his passes with just seven interceptions.
 
Osborne gained Academic All-Ivy honors, earned selection as an Allstate AFCA Good Works Team nominee, and stood as a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy. The winner of the team's Badger Award for work ethic and will power, Osborne caught 10 passes for 229 yards and three touchdowns this past season.
 
Football players from all Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) institutions are eligible for the award. Each of the nominees were required to have a minimum grade point average of 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) in undergraduate or graduate study and have been a starter or key player with legitimate athletics credentials. They must have reached their second year of athletics and academic standing at the nominated institution and have completed a minimum of one full academic year at the nominated institution. They also must have participated in 50 percent of the games played at their designated position.
 
Additionally, from the 2025 Academic All-Star Team, 12 finalists were selected for the 25th Annual FCS ADA $5,000 Postgraduate Scholarship. Two student-athletes will receive postgraduate scholarships.
 
A special Review Committee of FCS athletics directors were responsible for selecting the 2025 Academic All-Star Team and FCS ADA Postgraduate Scholarship finalists. This year's Review Committee consisted of: Mark Benson, Albany; Bill Chaves, North Dakota; Sherryta Freeman, Lafayette; Kurt McGuffin, UT Martin (Chair); and Skip Perkins, North Carolina Central.
 
Harvard is coming off a year that saw it earn a national ranking for a majority of the campaign, including a top-10 mark the final three weeks of the regular season. The Crimson posted a 9-2 record (6-1 Ivy) and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA FCS Playoffs in the Ivy League's first season of eligibility.
