Men's Hockey Heads to Hanover to take on No. 9 Dartmouth

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Men's hockey will play its second consecutive Ivy opponent when it heads to Hannover to take on Dartmouth tomorrow night. 

PUCK DROP
  • Puck drop is set for 7:00 p.m. from Thompson Arena on ESPN+.
THREE TWENTY FIVE
  • Ted Donato made program history after becoming the winningest coach in program history with his 325th career win on Dec. 3 against Brown.
  • Donato is one of just seven active coaches with 325-plus career victories.
  • He passed Ralph "Cooney" Weiland for second all-time in program history following the opening-round playoff win against RPI last season.
  • Donato is currently 49th all-time in NCAA history in career victories, with only 10 active coaches owning more wins than the long-time Crimson leader.
CARDIAC CRIMSON
  • Harvard scored three unanswered goals in just under eight minutes to tie the game at three and force overtime against No. 1 Michigan.
  • The three-goal comeback marked the first time since the 2022–23 season that Harvard overcame a three-goal deficit in the third period to tie a game.
THE 729
  • The line of Philip TrescaCasey Severo, and Mick Thompson has been extremely efficient since coming together late last season.
  • After becoming a trio in the 25th game of the season last year, the line produced 34 points across the final 10 games.
  • This season, the trio has totaled 37 points through 13 giving them 71 points over their last 23 games played.
FOURTH LINE GRIND
  • The fourth line of Salvatore Guzzo, William Hughes, and Marek Hejduk has been strong for the Crimson this season.
  • The group added its sixth goal of the year on Saturday and has scored in six of the last nine games.
SPECIAL TEAMS
  • The Crimson surrendered its first power-play goal of the season against No. 1 Michigan last weekend.
  • Now 31-for-34 on the season, with a 91% penalty-killing unit which is second in the nation.
