Women’s Swimming and Diving Opens 2026 in South Florida

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving returns to action for the first time in 2026, when it competes at Florida International with Miami (Fla.) in Miami, Florida. This marks the Crimson's final regular-season road trip of the 2025-26 campaign. The action is set for Saturday at noon ET.

What to Know

  • Harvard returns to the pool for the first time since Dec. 4-6, when it competed at the Minnesota Invitational. The Crimson finished in third place (1,352 points), with No. 6 California (1,874) and No. 21 Minnesota (1,616.50) occupying the top-2 spots. Denver (867.50), Rutgers (811.50) and UNLV (584.50) rounded out the team standings.
  • During the three-day meet in Minnesota, Harvard broke a pair of school records. Anya Mostek set the new program standard in the 50 free, swimming a 22.44 in the prelims. Then in the finals, the senior matched her time with another 22.44. The next day, Kiley Wilhelm etched her name atop the school's all-time-best list in the 100 fly. The sophomore first broke the Crimson record in the prelims, finishing in 51.87, before turning in a 51.78 in the finals later that night.
  • Harvard for the first time this season also notched NCAA qualifying times at the Minnesota Invite. On Day 1, Wilhelm (200 IM), Carolina Daher (500 free) and Alexandra Bastone (500) recorded NCAA qualifying times. Day 2 saw Wilhelm (100 fly) hit the national mark, with Day 3 producing three more (Bastone – 1,650 free; Daher – 1,650 free; Wilhelm – 200 fly).
  • The Crimson enters this week's action having also qualified Nina Janmyr, Ennika Carlson and Samantha Holtz for the 1- and 3-meter competitions at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships. Tabitha Chen-Fiske and Christina Shi, meanwhile, have each qualified for the zone meet on the 1-meter board.
  • When Harvard faces Florida International, it will mark the first meeting in the history of both programs. The Crimson, however, has faced Miami twice (2002, 2013) and emerged with victories each time, both in Coral Gables.
  • Harvard has won 14 straight dual meets, which represents the program's longest such streak since winning 25 in a row from the start of 2004-05, through 2005-06, and the first five duals of 2006-07.

Up Next

Harvard plays host to Penn for an Ivy League contest and in-town foe Boston College on Saturday, Jan. 17, at noon ET. The meet will air live on ESPN+.
