PRINCETON, N.J. – Harvard Men's Swimming and Diving finds itself in fifth place after one day of action at the Ivy League Championships. The Crimson, with its 108 points, sits behind Yale (120), Princeton (120), Columbia (106), and Cornell (104) through two events at DeNunzio Pool. Following in the team standings are Penn (94), Brown (94), and Dartmouth (90).
How It Happened
- The Crimson kicked off the Ivy League Championship with a season best in the 200 medley relay. The quartet of Marre Gattnar, Joshua Chen, Sonny Wang, and Maro Miknic clocked in at 1:25.47 for a fourth-place finish.
- In a non-scoring diving relay exhibition, the Crimson finished in third place behind Brown (338 pts.) and Dartmouth (316 pts.), totaling 308.70 points.
- Harvard returned to the pool after the diving relay exhibition to close out the evening with the 800 free relay. Will Browne, David Greeley, Marre Gattnar, and William Mulgrew touched in 6:22.39 to finish sixth, improving upon their previous season-best time of 6:27.61.
