CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Harvard men's heavyweight rowing team races at home on the Charles River for the first time this spring when it takes on Cornell for the Robinson Cup on Saturday, April 4. All four races will be streamed on WatchESPN and the ESPN app.
The Robinson Cup
Harvard returns four members of last year's varsity eight that defeated Cornell in Ithaca. Senior
Ben Scott (Perth, Australia) strokes the V8 for the third year in a row. Last year's boats swept the 1V, 2V, 3V and 4V races. The varsity eight won by a full 15 seconds in a time of 5:30.0; having bested the Big Red's varsity every race since 2010. Overall, Harvard pulled even in the all-time series against Cornell, 28-28, in a rivalry that goes back to 1896.
