CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard track & field is Garden State bound this weekend, as the Crimson head to Princeton, New Jersey for the 2026 Ivy League Heptagonal Outdoor Championships on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17. Harvard fans can purchase tickets

WHAT TO KNOW
- Harvard enters its postseason slate after concluding the regular season on a high note down south, shining at the Duke Twilight with several notable performances.
- Sophomore Harlow Tong, making his fourth appearance this outdoor season, reset his school record in the 400m in Durham, North Carolina, taking first place with a time of 46.06.
- A native of Saint Paul, Minnesota, Tong ranks fourth in the men's 400m this season.
- In the women's 100m and 200m, sophomore Ella Cooper stole the show, posting wind-legal personal bests in each event. Cooper stopped the clock at 11.32 to finish in fourth in the 200m, as the Owings Mills, Maryland native also finished in fourth with a time of 23.27 in the 200m.
- Coooper now leads the Ivy League in both the 100m and the 200m, as her times rank second all-time in both school and conference history. For her efforts at the Duke Twilight, Cooper garnered Ivy League Women's Athlete of the Week honors.
- The defending Ivy League champion in the men's 100m, junior Timi Esan is poised for a big weekend in the Garden State, as the London, United Kingdom native ranks first in the 100m (10.15) and ninth in the 200m (21.21) in the Ivy League this season.
- Junior Amari Turner won the Ivy League title in the men's 200m at the 2026 Ivy League Indoor Championships, as the Sanford, Florida native ranks fourth in the 200m during the outdoor campaign with a time of 20.87 from the Tom Jones Memorial.
- The Most Outstanding Men's Track Athlete at the 2026 Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Championships after winning conference championships in the 3000m and the 5000m, junior Charlie Ortmans currently ranks third in the 5000m (13:38.25) and second in the 10,000m (28:29.37).
- Along with Cooper, sophomore Abigail Dennis is enjoying a stellar season on the track in the hurdles, leading the Ivy League in the women's 100 hurdles (13.42) and ranks second in the 400 hurdles (58.31).
- A pair of Crimson rank in the top five of the women's pole vault. The women's pole vault champion at the 2025 Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Championships, sophomore Ella McRitchie is second in the conference with a height of 4.40m (14'5.25") while junior Lilly Hodge is fourth after clearing 4.12m (13'6.25") at the Kirk Baptiste Invitational.
- The Most Outstanding Women's Track Athlete at last year's Ivy League Heptagonal Outdoor Championships, senior Molly Malague is second in the Ivy League in the women's 3000 steeplechase with a time of 10:04.61.
