AUCKLAND, New Zealand – Harvard field hockey first-year Brooke Chandler earns a spot on New Zealand's U21 Squad ahead of the 2026-27 programming cycle, starting with an extended squad camp beginning in July.

"Selection into the NZ Under 21 squads is a significant milestone and an exciting step in each athlete's hockey journey," Regional High Performance & Pathways Lead Dane Lett said in a press release from Hockey New Zealand. "This is a period of opportunity, growth, and challenge, and we look forward to supporting this group as they continue to develop."

A native of Auckland, New Zealand, Chandler was a key defensive contributor for the Crimson backline last season. Appearing in 19 contests with 17 starts during the 2025 campaign, Chandler was a component of a Crimson that defense that ranked second in goals against average (0.74), second in goals allowed (16) and tied for fourth in shutouts (9).
